Doesn't matter to me as much as the savings (over $15) so i am very satisfied.
This along with the matching shampoo has given my short, fine hair so much body.

To my satisfaction, they both smelled the same, the consistency is the same; packaging; is the same; and the performance is the same.
Competitiveness
I use kerastase shampoos and it's truly the only brand that i've actually seen and had good results with.
As a regular kerastase user i must say this is the best masque since masquintence, a decade ago!
I have very thin hair and a constant hairfall.
I made sure to have some of my salon purchased kerastase available in order to compare the two products once the on-line purchase arrived.

Its a color treated blonde frizzy dry and lots of breakage and normally after a blow dry i look like a wookie

I left it in for 35 minutes when i applied it it literally felt like silk on my hair and immediately detangled it
