The clip is either side, either end. The clip design itself is great and discreet. The only thing i disliked about the first one and this one is the pocket clip position.

The lockup is still tight as a bank vault. The assisted opening action is stiff, but it takes a few weeks for it to loosen up and get smoother. The lock is firm and releases easily.

Cons

I own about 14 kershaw blades and this is my least favorite. A washer on the back side interferes with the unlock lever (for lack of a better term) the blade is also very wide, made it bulky when folded.

I stick with the $50 - $100 knives.

My dad has expressed every time how unbelievably sharp it is in comparison to the other knives we use.

Made in china, but that’s why the price is lower than a us made one.
