I love my kershaw knives the sanvik blades rule

There is a small manual safety that locks the blade in the closed position

No idea why they decided that this particular model needed a blade safety none of the other kershaws i own that are speedsafe assisted have one and its not like any of them have ever gone rogue and started flying open on their own

I wish the thumb studs didnt exist they seem rather pointless in this application and the lefthanded stud is particularly pointless it cannot be reached at all
