Pros & Cons
Pros
As for allegations this is a switchblade, no it is not. It has been sharpened maybe 3 times with a gatco 4 stone set, and has not yet seen the course stone. Keeps a good edge, and super easy to sharpen when needed.
The locking mechanism seems more than adequate. I prefer more of a drop-point for opening amazon boxes without the blade slipping too far into the carton.
Cons
Amazon & abcd's credit, they send a label and even agreed to reimburse me for shipping with an included receipt.
I know i could get a higher priced speedsafe with different steel, but this steel should be up in the 55+ range and it is not. The scales what i would consider to be a packing material grade of plastic, the knife has very noticeable and unrefined cnc ... Read More
Open assist requires too much pressure to active it. Very stiff opening. No thumb stud or nail nick.
Highlights
Quality
Well built and seems like it’ll last a long time.
The torsion bar ensures that the knife will remain firmly closed and the speed-safe/torsion bar mechanism opens easily.
It’s not bulky and the blade came sharp.
The liner lock on this knife engages fully [although i did have to send 1 other kershaw back because the line lock did not fully engage].
Price
Great inexpensive knife, well made, fast, sharp.
For the price, not sure you can do better.
I wouldn’t mind some jimping on the back of the blade, but you can’t have everything for a $25 knife!

The main problem with the kershaw oso sweet is that the spring action will inevitably shake loose the screws holding it together primarily the grip and if you arent paying attention you might not notice that they dropped out until theyre long gone

If you do notice you can kinda clamp it back together and use loctite on the screw to try and prevent it in the future
