Pros & Cons
Pros
It has a great matte finish to the steel that feels nice and the handle feels good too. Not flashy but simply durable and well made. My only beef is the knife is a little thicker that i would want.
This sits on my coffee table and has been my go to knife for the last few years. Totally worth it. The only thing i don’t care about this one is a little wider than my previous ones. My knife appears is a few years older than the design offered here, ... Read More
High quality, versatile knife that is my standard daily carry. Small yet big enough and ergonomically made handle and thumb rest fit perfectly in my hand. It makes me aware that if i want to carry it everyday, i need to wear sturdy pants with a pocket... Read More
Cons
The flipper and detente aren't enough to make the knife fully deploy and lock without you having to violently flick your wrist. The blade is fine but on the parts holding it together is where the problem is. I hear this is a good brand, but i'm zero f... Read More
When you look at the side of the package it plainly says its another knife. The photo is of the discontinued volt, not the volt ii.
Highlights
Quality
Feels good in my hand, well made, smooth action.
This is a well made knife and functions perfectly.
This is the 2nd one that has broke now and haven't even owned it for 90 days
It effortlessly shaves hair with no resistance.
Price
I give it four stars based on value for the money.
This is a good inexpensive knife to carry around and not worry if you damage it or lose it.
For 30 bucks its much better then anything i've had before.
Will start by saying that for the low relatively low cost of this knife, it’s pretty good.
Competitiveness
For an assisted knife the ease of operation and how smooth it is amazes me compared to other knife brands.
I don't understand, mostly because it was manufactured in china while the others (one of which i returned) were more expensive.
It has an edge far superior to any other (more (not much) expensive) kershaw's i've received.
I've tried other brands, but keep coming back to kershaw, they perform flawlessly right out of the box.
