I am shocked that this has the kershaw name on it! Kershaw usually never lets me down, but this knife did just that. I notified the seller and they will return accept it for return.

Price
For the price it is a great every day carry knife.
This knife for the money is an awesome buy.
I have a real emerson knife and for the money this is close as you will get without spending money on an emerson.
I wish there was an affordable, deep carry clip option.
Packaging/appearance
Even the box that the knife came in has this artwork too.
Competitiveness
This is very close to being as good as the actual emerson brand.
The cqc-8k is a much less expensive, chinese-made, tactical folder closely resembling the american-made emerson cqc-7bw.
I have an emerson brand almost the same knife that cost over $200.
Was trying to find something similar to the other cqc i believe it’s called the “5k” (the one that has the bowie edge).

Not the best tanto style edc out there but it is cqc ready the wave function works decently but mine came very tight had to loosen the pivot felt like a gas station knife before i did that lubed it up a bit now it’s much better

It’s still a cool looking blade but when i ordered it i thought about the single edge on this one not minding it but when i got it since i’m left handed it looks awkward keep in mind they sharpened it like this so it’s easier in the field to maintain instead of directly sharpening 2 sidesedges you only need to focus on 1 which makes it much easier

So if you’re left handed like me this is not a good blade for you as when it’s in your hand you’ll only see the flat side

To just use as a tool lol loosen the clip a bit by slightly bending it because it’s grippy for some reason

Register your knife and kershaw will replace the blade for 10

The blade is a little tight in the frame so it can be a little spotty on if it is going to open when you pull it from your pocket
