Pros

The kershaw speedsafe works flawlessly, just like it does on all of my other kershaw knives. No this isn't some super fancy steel formula like someother brands. I love how sturdy and solidly constructed it feels.

The glass breaker is serviceable and really works. The clip is sturdy. Only problems is that i most likely won’t use the belt cutter or glass breaker anytime soon unless emergency situations happen.

It is very tight at first but loosens up a little. Then it eases up and feels amazing. My gf's opens easily with a fingertip, so this was my basis for comparison.

It works, it’s a good edc knife for my job, and also for a survival situation. Probably a great knife for first responders, imo.

Currently available in black/silver, grey/ silver, and green/silver. Big bonus points (or not) for the all black (tactical) look. Bright orange color makes it easy to spot in any situation.

Cons

I'm a dedicated kershaw pocketknife owner, but this one is disappointing. The window breaker is garbage. While the seat belt cutter and glass breaker were excellent, the flipper is terrible.

Blade is good steel - easy to maintain (strop).

Made from high quality steel, it seems quite durable and built to last.

The handle is grippy even when cover in fish slime.

The blade was mechanically sharp out of the factory, i took a strop to it and now i can shave with it.

For the price you can not beat this knife

I love that for it’s price it has multiple features.

It did loosen up but then again its only 22$.

At the price losing it is not a heartbreaker.

Compared to a sog esacpe in my other ifak, the kershaw barricade wins for operation, feel and price.

You're counting on kershaw quality control more than the country of origin when you buy this knife.

I have owned both the kershaw baracade and the kershaw leek, and as an all-around edc knife, the baracade is generally better.

The price makes losing or breaking the baracade much less painful to the wallet than other options such as the leek.
