Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

It's hard to find knives in a good size to fit all pants pockets unless it's an ity bity knife. No fuss, just a little envelope with the pocket clip and two fresh screws.

Cons

The kershaw is heavy for what you get and you get wobble if you move it back and forth. Blade alignment is off to the point that it scrapes on the frame. When folded the blade strikes the inside of the handle as it closes.

I hope i am able to do an exchange on this knife and that the knife i received was just a fluke. I'm not going to play this game if it looks like i'm bucking the odds.

The knife is not as pictured. Received knife that could be described at matte grey. On close inspection one washer looks yellowish in color, one is a grey metal of some kind.

No lengthy learning curve or break-in period. Biggest complaint is the more you want to play with the knife's flippy action, the closer you are to losing it altogether.

Quality

This is 3rd one i have purchased over the years and they have all exceeded my expectation in quality, durability, and sharpness.

The fit and finish is good, the flipper is good, the lock works well and the clip is great and allows the knife to sit low in the pocket.

5lb push to open, the liner lock takes roughly two pounds to clear it, and it takes roughly three pounds applied near the tip w...  Read More

Price

Wanted a small inexpensive knife that i could open with one hand and this knife fits the bill.

It checks all the boxes i wanted in an inexpensive knife.

I have silly knives that cost into the multiple hundreds of dollars.

Can't go wrong with kershaw for under $100.

Shipping

I received the kershaw cryo one week ago and really like it.

Came in ahead of time and in good condition.

Competitiveness

I bought a different kershaw knife after the third broke.

Pains me to say it but it’s better in every way than the usa made knives at tsc i was comparing it to.

You can also send it back to kershaw for sharpening for as long as you own it.
