Pros

Emerson wave is faster than otf/ots auto. Holds an edge decently well, solid construction. The ergonomic are outstanding.

Detent holds it shut very solidly. Easy to clean thanks to philips screws. Has a reversible pocket clip for the lefties.

Kershaw makes a great knife, and this edc is fantastic. When combined with emerson technology it sings. These knives have a good reputation for a reason.

The wave is a well made tool, but the body is good strong stainless. Smooth action on teflon washers the only thing i don't like is the weight. I have autos, spring assisted, and flippers and nothing can beat the wave.

Cons

The framelock side of the grip is very slippery and the g10 is thick and not contoured. This is not a great edc knife and the handle does not inspire confidence. This knife is useless as a flipper.

It has superb ergonomics; feels great in the hand and the locking mechanism is solid.

Fit and finish are excellent, and the knife feels smooth and comfortable in hand - ready to go to work.

This knife rolls open easy if you want to open it without the wave, you can even snap it open.

The only reason i never picked one of these up was the cheap 8cr steel.

Price

This knife is awesome especially for the price.

I think i'm going to buy a couple more of these at this fantastic price just to have for the future.

It’s a great value for less than $50.

Lastly, great price point for a very nice d2 blade.

I got it two days earlier than expected.

Box comes with screws to mount pocket clip on the left side.

Competitiveness

I like this better than the cqc11.

At this price point, it is an excellent choice for edc and personal defense.

Especially when you can get d2 emerson design for a third of theirs to me any knife you can buy 3 of is better.
