Pros

The older one is perfectly serviceable still. The clip gets a little stretched out over time and could need replacing eventually.

Workmanship excellent and razor sharp upon arrival. It is so slick and sharp!

I carry this on me if i'm wearing a suit because it's much thinner/low profile. Has a safety as well to prevent pocket leg jabs. Fit perfectly in their pocket without seeing it bulge out.

The blade retains its sharpness for a considerable time and has both a smooth and serrated edge. It takes an edge readily and is fairly resistant to staining or rusting. The serrations make it good for med size rope.

It’s my go-to sailboat knife. If you want a great every day carry knife at 3 ounces this is it. No regrets, perfect for daily carry.

Cons
