Pros

Sharp out of the box, can be turned into a razor easily with a sharpening. After 8 months of daily carry and use from opening packages to slicing rotisserie chicken the blade is still extremely sharp. Comes razor sharp.

Lock works great and is not difficult to disengage even though there isn't one of those preposterously over done cutouts in the handle. Locks well. Flips right open cleanly.

The anodized aluminum is very durable. It is lightweight and feels pretty good in my hands.

Kershaw makes a quality knife for a very reasonable price, considering it is made in the usa. Quality is good especially for the price. Affordable and made inthe usa.

The leek is just as fast, but thinner and lighter, and better all around. It has an excellent blade with a solid body. Even works as a letter opener due to sharp point and blade. No cons at this time.

Cons

The thumb studs at this point are just impossible. The blade deployment barely works.

I would have returned and done an exchange, but niece was happy with the black.

This one just would not open all the way with the assist mechanism the way my others did.

If you have a benchmade 940 in green anodized aluminum you know what i mean.
