Pros

Extremely sharp and durable. The composite steel blade is very interesting, but i’ not sure how much it really adds to the utility of the knife.

It has all of the features he loves. But this time stronger, tougher than before. It's pricier than other models, but once you've tried a more inexpensive model you will want to upgrade.

The spring assist opens authoritatively, smoothly and quickly. With a flick of a thumb it springs open. It's my go to for outdoors still where i'd rather be indiscriminate with where i place the tip.

This one is top-drawer! It has a simplistic design that is beautiful to look at.

It has a strong, study, somewhat hefty feel to it, and the locking mechanism is first-class. The only thing that i dislike is the blade lock.

Cons

The build quality is something i’d expect from a knife costing much more than i paid.

I really can't recommend this knife enough, it is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship at a very reasonable price.

The brawler is made in china but the price also reflect that as well.

This knife opens about 2/3 as fast as my sandvik version of the knife.

Packaging/appearance

It had the dullest factory edge of the 4, but easily remedied with a few strokes on the sharpmaker.

My particular blade came very sharp, which is nice because i dislike having to sharpen a toothy edge right out of the box.

It is incredibly sharp right out of the box!

Competitiveness

I’ve had larger kershaw knives and a few benchmade knives and always come back to my leek.

I've been a fan of kershaw for years, but that being said, many of their knives are not made in the usa.

If you're looking beyond a nationalism mindset, there is very stiff competition out there at this price point.

It's not an outdoor woodworking folder or a heavy-duty knife.
