Pros & Cons

Pros

This little knife stays sharp and sharpens easy. All my other knives get a session on the strop after any hard cutting jobs. No need to sharpen as with any other knife.

Carabiner clip lets you clip it to a gear hang, the outside of your pack, or a variety of other places where you know it won't be lost. Pocket clip is super slim and low profile, but works well. Pack has an internal tether for clipping car keys or oth...  Read More

Kershaw is zai's budget line of knifes. The scales are g10 with a thin carbon fiber layer on top. The carbon fiber looks great against the dark coated blade.

It has excellent construction and durability. The locking mechanism is trustworthy and easy to use.

Build quality - both look very good to me. Fit and finish is excellent, everything looks great. I got this and the shuffle, and there is no comparison, this is so much better.

Cons

Poorly executed 'biner means that you may well lose the knife before even have to worry about the next two issues. Either through planned obsolescence or incompetence, the frame-lock mechanism is bound for a very limited lifespan. It begs the question...  Read More

Quality

Nice edge and portability well made and design

My fav based on use, weight, easy to open and it looks great to boot.

Every knife i try to cary in my front pocket comes out and gets lost.

This is the minimalist knife i've been waiting for.

Price

Kershaw makes a great knife for the money.

For that price, the quality is excellent.

Not too expensive if you lose it (i actually lost one and bought a 2nd ).

Price - kershaw: $22 vs $30size - kershaw: this one is subjective.

Competitiveness

I got this and the shuffle, and there is no comparison, this is so much better.

Similar to buck apex 818 in size and weight, very light.

Both are acceptable but the kershaw is noticeably sharper.

The only reason comfort got a lower score is i have big hands and a small knife isnt nessasarily the most comfortable thing to hold

Interior machined edges are sharp enough that i may try to smooth them a bit its not enough to cut a normal person but uncomfortable

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The same type of machined edge is on the blade back for the thumb grip instead of a stud
