Pros & Cons
Pros
It has a prybar/screwdriver that is very handy, and it has a bottle opener you can use when you're done working. It's a little awkward to close one handed but the liner lock is far easier to access than in some other similar knives.
It is a little bulky in the pocket but the heaviness of the blade is very useful for heavier splitting kindling.
The blade and blade lock are sturdy. The pocked clip sits fairly deep in the pocket. The belt clip is really strong. It locks into place nicely.
Cons
The qc on this model is lacking. For one of their most well known knives this is sad and gimmicky, not worth the money to me. I wish there was more of a lock to keep the knife closed even before the hardware started to fail.
Like really cheap plasticy feeling. Loud creaking noise of metal scraping metal when opening/closing. While the bottle open works, it's pretty finicky and not worth the hassle.
The pocket clip is very tight. Grip screws are free spinning and misaligned. It doesn't open smoothly.
Highlights
Quality
Well made and the handle is great.
They are often known for being sharp, durable, and being exactly what you want in a knife.
Kershaw blades should be american made but this one says made in china.
Just not my style and most i had encountered just seemed flimsy and not very well made or designed (i’m looking at you mr.
Price
For the price, you cannot beat it!
Great for the price for a small edc knife.
I got it at nearly a 50% discount, and at that price it's a steal.
At <$20, i would keep one in my backpack in addition to keeping it in my pocket.
Shipping
Placed my order weeks ago and it is now somewhat unbelievably impossible to get amazon to admit that they lost it.
I just hope yours arrives like it should.
Packaging/appearance
Arrived super sharp right out of the box.
Competitiveness
There are better knives out there for sure, but probably not at this price point.
