You really have to hold the door still on the magnet otherwise the magnet wont be able to hold back the door

I think its a great idea because its probably helping for the screw too you know avoiding the constant shock that would make them loose with timebecause my floor was not finished yet i had to shim it with a wood block otherwise the floor part was too low to grab on the door part
