Both products have screens with the washer in the female side kes has coarser mesh

Both have short threads on the male side so i had to add a washer in the moen shower head to get the proper seal

The ball joint the two large nut looking items were a little loose so the shower head would not hold position when the water was off

It is on a swivel ball but the long handle hit the wall behind it so it would not swivel downward enough

Our hack was a longer 8” pipe moen 123815 showering accessoriesbasic 8inch shower arm chrome and the shower head tilted down as intended but the water was still spraying the opposite wall – see photo
