It really should come with information particularly an instruction not to turn the diverter lever when the line is under pressure faucets should be turned off before turning the diverter to the sprayer or back to passthrough operation and when faucets are off after use line pressure should be released through the sprayer before turning the diverter to passthrough

The company is good about replacing the diverter assembly without chare when it breaks during the warranty period which is apparently one year the third time it broke for me was beyond the oneyear period so no replacement was sent
