Pros

Easy to set up with an app on my tablet. Well designed and great interface on ios. The app shows all the logged data and makes it easy to export a data file for processing. Connects via bluetooth and has a good range.

My kestrel drop arrived with the temperature sensor mushed into the unit, but it was easy to carefully bend back into place.

Product works well, but sometimes takes a really long time to connect to my phone.

You want it hovering and not touching anything with the sensor tip so it reads the free air.

Packaging/appearance

You can look at the data from the weather apps but it could read 43 and be 31 down by the lake near the ravine.
