I have tried running a damp ragcloth around the edge of the keyboard area and then laying the cover on it to make it stick but it wasnt effective

Adhesion is good just dont play with it too much or it will not stick the same

It just lays over the top so if you tip your laptop too far or sit by a fan or something it will come off
