It is very thin and you can still somewhat see the backlit part of the keyboard

I only wish the letters aligned to the letters on the actual keyboard because when they light up it looks like im seeing double and i wish it would stick to the keyboard somehow because when i put my laptop in tablet mode it falls off

The colors are bright and it fits well although the printing on the protector doesnt line up exactly with the lighted cutout of the keys themselves so sometimes that makes it difficult to see
