Quality

I have a k6 which i use with my mbp and was already impressed with the quality of the keychron keyboards.

Overall i am happy with the purchase and would purchase again.

There's nothing wrong with the gateron brown switches mine came with, and they may be fine for most situations.

Which may also help with the sound, but i am not convinced it was worth the effort.

Price

Conclusion: worth the price of admission for sure.

I was expecting more heft for the price.

If the board was programmable, even some, the price would have been justified.

Packaging/appearance

So when i got home i was pleasantly surprised at how nice the keyboard's actual packaging was once i took it out of the amazon box.

As for the switches i may leave the gateron browns in.

Competitiveness

I have another board with outemu browns that i don't care for (not hot-swappable either) but this board and these switches are outstanding!

First things first, i was replacing a razer blackwidow chroma (forget the exact model name).

Definitely get some orings for the caps to soften the bottom out.
