Pros & Cons
Pros
Same model, with hot swappable browns. The included gateron brown switches feel softer than cherry mx brown switches. The c2 is much nicer to type on for some reason.
Scroll lock key is configured to launch cortana/siri. Pause button is used to switch through light modes. I just wish there was a way to lock that selection in as if i accidentally hit the key that switches the light setting i have to toggle all the w... Read More
Inexpensive well built full sized mechanical keyboard with hot swappable key switches. The only thing i would like is a gasket mount but that puts you up a tier in price. The keychron c2 is basic in the vast world of mechanical keyboards but it is sol... Read More
The good:- usb-c port with a detachable cable. Usb c to usc a cable. The mac/windows function is good, but i have not yet used it because i don't own any mac computers. The usc keyboard is the only one that does what it says with a mac.
Hot-swappable, perfect for those who want to customize the keycaps or switch out the switches. Quality keycaps and switches are not cheap haha. Only downside is no print screen key out of the box, but i've just binded the snip tool to a key.
Cons
Its faint and with white see through keycaps its hard to see the actually letters on the keycaps unless your room is very dark. Hotkeys only work if you plug the keyboard into the keyboard-dedicated usb port. Every time i go to press the backlight key... Read More
Malfunctioning keyboards in a row means that i can't recommend it. It stops responding once or twice a day to input until i unplug and replug it.
Highlights
Quality
Heavy, sturdy, everything you could want in a gaming keyboard.
This is a high quality mechanical keyboard.
Their keys have rubber stoppers, so the clicky sound is entirely from the key, without the added sounds from the plastic itself.
Coiled usb cable would really set this apart from the rest.
Price
Having that option for the price is definitely worth it.
Great value for a mech keyboard too.
Don't pay 100+ dollars for junk covered in rgb.
If you want a full size hot swappable mech keyboard for under 75$.
Packaging/appearance
Inside the box are windows keycaps (mac ones installed by default), a usb-c cable, a c to a plug adapter, and tools to pull up ... Read More
This is my first venture into mechanical keyboards, it types well, came well packaged, and the white led is bright and clear.
At first glance the box looked very good, not what i expected for this price, the keyboard was protected inside and was deliver... Read More
I was surprised by the quality of the packaging.
Competitiveness
I don't know if they can be reconfigured, because i've not tried, but just about every other keyboard manufacturer uses key com... Read More
I wanted another keyboard for clickyness and tactile feel and chose another brand with brown switches.
I'm definitely buying a keychron for my home but i'm probably going to look into the v series so i can compare them against each other.
