Pros

Came packed compactly with the keyboard, some extra key caps as well as some documentation and some swapping tools. The key strokes are responsive and i like that it is not too loud, but i can still hear it.

It’s the best one for a midrange and the top tier keyboards aren’t enough of an improvement to justify twice the price. Not a deal-breaker. Still, it's worth mentioning.

Nice and bright for me. Though it definitely lacks brightness, the colors are vibrant. At first i thought the rgb lighting was gimmick, after using it for awhile, it just adds to the experience.

Cons

There is one fatal flaw which i feel could have been avoided. It was covered in a dried, sticky liquid substance. The only solution appears to be using the keyboard in cable mode which defeats the reason for purchasing a bluetooth keyboard.

The battery life is atrocious and the light is dim and just a gimmick. Bluetooth connectivity is mediocre at best. You can buy 1 of 3 or 4 sets of the exact same oem profile.

This feels like a quality product, with replaceable switches and keycaps, i am hoping it will last a long time.

Battery lasted 2 days after 16 hours of use with lights on.

The aluminum part of it is only four rails made of aluminum that slide onto the plastic case.

Competitiveness

This is my second keychron keyboard and this one is just a good as my wired q3.

The switches and keycaps have surpassed the purchase price of the base keyboard at this point.

Note: this seems to be a shorter cable than some other brands that provide you the same cable but at a longer length.

The gateron brown switches feel a lot nicer than i was expecting, perhaps even on-par (or better) than genuine cherry mx's.
