For my unit i opted for keychrons brown switches a tactile feeling with a slight bump which i prefer since i tend to be rather aggressive with my keystrokes

Notably the k8 does not come with prelubed switches which is a shame since theyre the companys own inhouse design

This version does not which is fine by me since my monitor provides all the key illumination i need and less lighting means longer battery life
