The gateron brown pro switches are fine for what they are -- basically linear switches with a minuscule little bump. They are decently lubed, definitely a couple are a little scratchy but that is really getting nitpicky.

I needed a new keyboard for my work system but didn't want to spend as much as the q1 cost.

Packaging/appearance

I'm a linear switch guy so seeing that these came with the gateron red pros i was stoked!

I looked up some recommended fixes and ended up cutting some of the packaging foam to stick under the space bar.

No disassembly or fiddling with cutting the foam in the packaging to fill it up.

Competitiveness

Logitech wi-fi performed much better than this bluetooth + dongle thing i'm using.
