This is the first time i've used a 10-keyless and i've always been a mech keyboard user. I love how clicky the switches are.

Cons

Plenty of open source and quality software out there to let you do this and have had no issues.

Pretty annoying, my royal kludge that this replaced would go a week with the backlight on low.
