Pros

Construction is very solid for $100, there's little flex and this seems like it will last. Rgb backlighting is a nice bonus and looks really good. Leds are bright, decent color options. Lights/patterns are entertaining.

This seems like a great keyboard for any typist. The only nitpick i have is the location of the usb-c port. I still prefer using my own straight connector.

The keychron k8 is a wireless keyboard with connectivity options and a quality feel. It is $100 cheaper than my razer huntsman elite. The additional mac/windows os keys are also a really nice touch.

Cons

Bluetooth is extremely flaky. Every few seconds the keyboard switches the layout configuration - i'm on the windows layout, and then suddently it switches to a macos layout. The bluetooth mode they advertise is completely useless.

Customer service is bot driven and take's way too long for any real response. Be prepared to waste a month on troubleshooting.

Sadly, that is where the good list stops. Will not be buying another keychron. Overall, very disappointed.

Honestly, a well built keyboard, met my expectations on every level and has worked great!

My option key already has a scratch for less than 4 months of use.

Previously had a cooler master masterkeys pro l rgb with cherry mx blue switches and this blows that keyboard out of the water!

Price

Great for the money, i recommend upgrading the key switches and doing a tempest mod for premium feel.

I enjoy the brown switches i got and the aluminum base gives a great premium feeling for the price point.

But for the price- around $120, having a wireless mechanical keyboard is definitely worth it.

Not a bad keyboard for the money.

Packaging/appearance

Works perfectly, comes in really nice packaging, and even though the keycaps are super thin they look and feel great.

Came with excellent instructions written in clear, concise english with easy to follow illustrations.

Upon unboxing, i realized my fears were unfounded.

Cons: optional keycaps for the windows shortcuts came in a little plastic bag.
