The frame for the mattress itself has hardwood slats and sits on a metal frame not a wooden one

My only complaint is the delivery time scale i ordered it and my money was taken but it wasnt delivered on the date i was told it would be it took two telephone calls and a bit of anger to get it and it finally came two weeks after order

Firstly have to say we purchased these beds based on the reviews and due to new house circumstances didn’t set them up until 3 months after delivery

Plus you have the option to choose where you place the shelf desk and chest of drawers if you dont want them in exactly the positions as shown in the photograph
