The canopy fabric is all one piece that attaches securely to a rigid frame of poles much like a tent does

I have yet to test this in any challenging weather conditions but so far it serves its purpose well for shade at a picnic an outing at the park and a childs ballgame

Principally make sure the poles and hub are right side up before attaching to the fabric as it is not universal

There are sturdy fabric loops and grommet holes that traditional stakes will work on for the corners and center of the canopy where it meets the ground but you have to get your own
