Without a base it is quite annoying to hold and play the songs. The big part i don't like is the squeaky noise it makes. Given it's almost the cost of the kit itself, i'm not impressed.

I thought there would be a very loud gearchurning sound but there isnt really much at all although you can hear the paper sliding across the device pretty clearly

Dependent on the strength of the canadian dollar it may be worth it to order this from an american vendor as it may be cheaper
