Stand is very sturdy, some kind of metal. Stand is sleek black metal and cable is of nice length. Holds the watch in place nicely and doesn't fall.

The connection pins are sturdy and i don't have that aggravation of the pins constantly reconnecting and disconnecting while charging. It charges the watch very fast. It does not hinder the usage of the charging dock.
