Pros

The dx is the best reader out there. It is very good for reading pdf if you don't need a quick pagination. Keep the button key board at the bottom - love the tactile *. Love, love, love this device!

I love the screen size (the size of a real book page) and i don't care that it doesn't fit in my purse or coat pocket. I love how slim it is and how easily it fits in bags and backpacks.

Cons

Battery is 1/2 depleted after 3 weeks w/o wireless on. And it does not work; it's defective. Once it's cracked, the whole kindle dx becomes a piece of junk.

Pricing for non 3g should be dropped; same price as a dsi without the colors, touch screen, gaming processes etc.

Never use it to read any scientific paper with graphs. Pdf viewing not acceptable.

Ps, the demand for a dx seems likely eventually, that another company will build something akin to dx, and get around copyright laws.

Some other companies like sony still make e-ink based readers with big screen and good performance.
