The oasis is compatible with gooseneck tablet holders. The push * are a game changer for one-handed use. Sometimes there is a glitch, but i can just reset it and it works just like a new kindle.

My only gripe is i have to recharge it often. Included in this purchase was a new charger with usb cord.

Cons

I read for thirty minutes on the oasis and the battery went down 12%. The tech is very outdated and very slow. The battery life is even worse than the traditional kindle.

The device advertises having “free cellular connectivity’. The only way to fix it is to reboot the device and it will work for a while then goes right back into the glitches.

For being the deluxe high end ereader that it’s supposed to be, i find that the quality and durability is certainly not there. The books are too old to sync. It then gets stuck in a loop no matter what you do.

Once i hit my 20s, i started going back into reading and fell so deeply in love with the characters, i haven't stopped again.

I bought the premium leather cover, as my first oasis came with the cover/battery.

I can’t believe they can’t make a true warm shade with the led’s in these things.

So i returned it and went with the oasis.

Price

But the price of the books on the kindle isn't my favorite.

I purchased this to replace my old kindle oasis that i dropped and shattered the screen.

Competitiveness

I do highly recommend some sort of way to hold it, whether it is a popsocket, a handle, or a case.

The e-ink display and warm tones for night reading are phenominal.

All my life i've always been against e-readers.

Same thing with my boyfriend’s paperwhite (newest model).
