The push * are a game changer for one-handed use. Sometimes there is a glitch, but i can just reset it and it works just like a new kindle. It can be substituted for the oasis if you are short on money.

Cons

It makes it heavy sided and tiring to hold. It is awkward with the one side being thicker than the other with it being very thin.

The device constantly changes the font size on its' own. The only way to rectify is to rotate the screen so that the * are on the bottom. It's infuriatingly incompetent ui design and it is intentional.

Kindle does the impossible by making a convoluted path for you to find it. Give me the option to want to see it on my device. Could not find how to sync or download without wi-fi.

It’s portable, i absolutely love the page turning buttons built in as well as the auto rotate feature.

Glass screens feel nice, resist scratches, and wipe perfectly clean.

I used to have a kindle fire and the battery life was horrible, i’d say i maybe got 2-3 hours of use.

I’ve used it on planes, trains, at the beach, laying in a hammock, and the screen is incredibly visible with no glare.

Price

Buttons are worth the extra cost for me.

Overall, the kindle oasis is worth every penny.

)i hope this is not some gimmick to try and push sales of the kindle scribe at $340.

I don't love that it has a micro usb b instead of usb c for charging, but it's not a big deal with adaptors being so inexpensive.

Shipping

It's easy to transport and the display is easy on my eyes.

Competitiveness

Amazon is discontinuing libby overdrive and can no longer get library books.

The only complaint i have about it is the battery life sucks in comparison to other models, but it is well worth it for me.

Amazon i am begging to have this back on the market, it's better than the paper white signature for sure.
