The quality of this kindle is great and the screen, especially the brightness, is amazing. It is perfect in bright sunshine and no glare. The adjustable backlight allows her to read in any lighting condition.

The only upside is i purchased two and one of them still works, so i share that one. No need to upgrade to the new one.

There are more menus, they are less intuitive, and are a nightmarish pain in the neck to navigate through. It's not sensitive to touch/swipe as it should be. This is pitiful & useless.

The store is excruciatingly slow and doesn't work half the time anyway. The same happens when you try to connect to amazon kids. Amazon needs to stop fixing what ain't broke.
