Pros

The nook separates ebooks and audiobooks. Both connect to my bluetooth headphones and the quality is variable on both depending on the audiobook's recording quality. Kindle unlimited is an amazing value for the cost on the same level as xbox gamepass ... Read More

The resolution is the same on both, 300ppi grayscale. Both are flush screens. It is perfect in bright sunshine and no glare.

For a while i was torn on whether or not to get a kindle. I’m glad i chose to splurge on one because it is amazing! Amazon makes it easy for you to upgrade. Adjusting and happy with purchase.

Cons

Amazon clearly has a glitch that that they have not fixed. The same happens when you try to connect to amazon kids. Amazon needs to stop fixing what ain't broke.

The positioning of the on/off switch is the feature that has regressed the most. It's not sensitive to touch/swipe as it should be. This is pitiful & useless.

The whole device resets itself randomly every week or two. The entire device freezes up every time you try to perform even the simplest tasks. The screen just stops and the only thing you can do is a hard restart.

The screen is now backlit, and i’m skeptical of the effectiveness of their efforts to prevent it from interfering with sleep. Text cannot be adjusted separately from the screen brightness. Many of the fonts available are hard for those who are visuall... Read More

Very sleek and slim, easy to carry along, outstanding battery life

Lighter than scribe, great resolution i love this.

Amazon has fone well with this product over the years and not fussed with it so much that it got worse.

I tried powering it off to restart it, but now it’s just stuck on the kindle tree screen and won’t do anything else.

Price

It takes a bit to wake up, but maybe that is the price to pay for 2 weeks between charging.

Not a big deal by any means though.
