You can watch netflix hotstar zee5 and range of other ott apps but in kindle you are stuck with only kindle store which is very good but still nowhere near the openness in fire tv stick everybody knows that there is android under the hood in kindle then why close it down let users install all those reading and ebook apps in it

Secondly kindle is in dire need of a thorough hardware upgrade to be at par with ongoing technological advances still using microusb does not give any advantage

Hope paperwhite 5 would be a game changer otherwise onyx boox nova air provides all the above features and you can read kindle books too by installing kindle apps

Nobody wants to have 2 devices for reading kindle will have to open up to stay relevant

The glass on the screen can get damaged easily mine got a scratch from a key and its an eyesore now
