Pros & Cons
Pros
Buy the kindle along with a book scented candle. No more musty, moldy books to move to your new place. I use for when i travel, it spares me from having to carry 2 or 3 books with me.
It's thinner than ever, very light and the battery life is amazing. The front lighting is better too. This kindle keeps a charge for weeks compared to having to charge it every day with the nook.
It turns the screen on when you open the kindle and it folds over the back and stays there. Some functions are not intuitive with the device, but i am slowly figuring it out.
Easy to use - the type is very readable. Cumbersome downloading process. Easy to learn to use.
Cons
I enjoy reading on it and the convenience of purchasing books on amazon but it's not worth it for a completely unreasonable lifespan. I'm switching to kobo since i have several friends who have been using theirs for 6-7 years with no issue.
