The screen is so much better. In the sunlight it really shines in clarity. I love the new soft light feature i use at night.

The kindle paperwhite is the best e-reader on the market. Buy the kindle along with a book scented candle. I am an early adopter of ebooks so my new kendal is the third one i've bought.

Battery life and overall weight of this kindle is improved and seems to feel ergonomically more comfortable than the last version. The battery life is great and i love that the screen is backlit. Softer backlight longer battery life.

Cons

Half of picking a book to read is eye appeal! Turned it off after an hour and returned to amazon. Would not recommend this item. The background screen is cream/gray.
