Pros

Instant library at my fingertips. Usb-c is a must. If you are getting a kindle, it makes more sense to bundle it. Easy to use and has a long battery life.

The backlight is perfect - it seems to adjust to the ambient lighting a bit. Being able to adjust the brightness is nice. My eyes are very sensitive to bright lights and backlit screens. Very readable screen.

While i miss the feel of paper in my hand, the page turn feels satisfying enough. I love that my kindle app and paperwhite sync so i can pick up right where i left off. Sometimes it takes pressing a bit to get the page to scroll.

Cons

The touch screen is very insensitive. Turning the pages of a book is a nightmare because every time you turn the page the screen flashes a bright sharp light that destroys your eyeball. Software design was outsourced to an incompetent 3rd party.

I was not happy all around with the service.

Mine has crashed a few times since i bought it, but if you're an e-reader person it's hard to go wrong with the original.
