Pros

Kinetic sand is a neat gift for kids, it's not like anything else and fun even for adults lol. My kiddo loves this kinetic sand, keeps him busy. The color sand stains a little but long as you clean up quick it’s not an issue.

Kids 13 to 18 love messing with it. Keeps my kids entertained on school breaks between subjects and indoor recess.

The tray, shovel and molds are a nice addition. It's not messy and is self contained in the tray it comes with. I have to store it in a ziploc baggie and kids empty it into the included tray each time one plays with it.

Cons

Not a happy grandma. It's as hard as a rock and in clumps. Directions say to squish sand until it softens, but it never softened. To be honest, any kid from 3-18 does not think and it will eventually end up on floor on purpose or accident.
