Easy to assemble and looks solidly built. Heavy duty, and i liked the inclusion of reflectors, license plate holder, and stabilizing u-bolt to keep the unit from bouncing around in the hitch mount. Rainbird makes a well designed product.

No issues with exhaust torching the bag. This isn't a deal breaker in the least. My only gripe to date is the paint/powder coat.

Cons

Parts fit poorly hangs crooked looks defective from rear. The receiver adds 1/8 to 1/4 of length but only mad the pin just long enough to fit through the arm that attaches to the product.

After 1200 miles of freeway, i’d say it now angles down 15-20 degrees from horizontal. It was advertised as holding 500lbs. Basically put a bandage on a leak.

Tried contacting seller twice with no response so far. Received slightly scuffed. It is only when i escalated the case with amazon that a full refund was finally made.

I used the provided stabilizing bar, and never once felt like it was bopping around the back of the vehicle on my 2,300mile drive.

You will need real tools as the ones supplied are a joke!

Only thing i wish it was level,middle is a 1/4 inch higher,but as i said it’s best for the price!

We are so glad we decided to buy this, it was so worth it.

Packaging/appearance

Packed my large flat top grill for a weekend camping trip and it worked perfect

I’m not sure if this was a return, but the bolts, nuts, and washers were not in a sealed container and they had some rust sediment on them!

Doesn't rattle thanks to the hitch tightener; two ratchets and packing net are included.

Competitiveness

I also compared it to my hollywood (4) bike rack & saw a difference.

I don't have this rust situation with my hollywood bike rack for comparison.

My hollywood bike rack is around 70 something pounds so in comparison its good for me.

Have numerous buddies who have similar carriers, but none are as good as this one.
