You have to use a dedicated bluetooth button to turn on the record button if you set it to video mode which works but you cant zoom in or out from it unless you are doing so from the phone

I tried to see if it does other things but it has a built in battery on the monitor which lasts as long as you use up the 800mah battery on the monitor

There is three different brightness levels or backlit for the monitor and there is a switch to slide between linear or wifi mode from the wifi
