Bought this for our grandson for christmas. Given our family hobby, she's a seasoned pro; but kingdetector stepped up to the plate. Our grandson loves it. Daddy's old school response to pokemon go.

It's very sturdy and has a great design. It's a little touchy at times, but definitely lets you know when there’s metal. For its category it works, is easy, durable.

Assembled it easily in a field on a truck tailgate. Was kind of a pill to get the unit to together. The batteries get used up pretty quickly, so it is a good idea to have an extra set ready to insert.

This is super flimsy and feels very cheap. Couldn't really trust it. The calibration system is trash.
