My gratitude to the author. Exceptional writing and story line. I dunno what it is about this author’s writing, but i like it.

The storytelling is interwoven so masterfully and remarkably. The world building is adequate, and the magic is sort of explained as the story unfolds. Very cohesive plot.

It's all depressing and unfun. I slogged through it on kindle unlimited and suspect the only reason why i read it was to pass the time until other books were released.

A tagline of follow jadora as she tries to keep her mouthy, teenage son safe from wizards doesn't pull the same demographic. Then the #2 antagonist interrogates the protagonist while having * with three teenage girls!

The most annoying shared characteristic is that they only have one form of dialog, which i will charitably call witty banter. The dialogue needs work. It attempts to be witty and edgy but often at the wrong time.
