I did the msi battery calibration procedure once on the day i installed it but then after about a week i had to do the msi battery calibration procedure again because the little blue light on my laptop came on usually a sign of some charging discrepancy

The instructions on the kingsener battery itself indicated that one should charge it up and down several times so that was what i had to do

I dont know if thats typical but i expected a little longer as i used the oem battery for 612 years and it never did become completely nonfunctional
