As far as the quality of the blender bowl itself that is yet to be seen only time will tell if they have made any improvements on the blender bowl over the original or not

Its usually because leaking starts around the underside of the blade

Even though they are original kitchen aid parts they must have some sort of defect

The first one i ordered from a different seller had one of the blades too bent that it was scratching the bottom of the pitcher and also was leaking when blending just a smoothie and didnt use any frozen fruits

The second one i ordered was better but still leaks in a much less scale than the first one

Since the blender i have is almost 9 years old the investment was good but probably could get a new kitchen aid blended for twice the price of this pitcher and youll know for sure you get a 100 guaranteed product
