Bought to replace the one that came with the mixer.
I don't know why these are not supplied with the mixers and they put the sub standard alloy one in.
I found the same with the paddle attachment supplied since i changed it i get a much better result.
I bought this to replace a white plastic covered one that was supplied with the machine and the plastic had started to flake off.

The plastic coated aluminium dough hooks are half the price but the plastic peels in a year or two
