Pros
They are very sharp and sturdy. Perfect for cutting up fresh spices and trimming chicken. Great for cutting poultry to remove gristle from bottom of a tri-tip roast.
Get two pairs in case one pair gets misplaced. This are so sturdy and amazing. Grips well and comfortable.
Kitchenaid scissors are the best ones i have - super sharp, comfortable to use, and great for all matter of jobs. These shears definitely do. Cut wrapping paper better than any other kitchenaid scissors.
The silicone hand grips are very comfortable and cushy, gives better control. They hand wash well and i stick them back in the knife block and they dry without rusting. They clean up well, and come with an included sheath.
Cons
After 2 months of use, washing and drying after every use they have developed 3 rust spots on the blades! Had a real hard time cutting up a whole chicken. These units have to be made from a very low grade stainless steel because they rust up at the dr... Read More

As with pretty much all the kitchen aid items i purchase, the quality is amazing.
Overall i'm very happy with the purchase!
These are marketed as kitchen scissors but with the exception of intricate cuts, you can really use them for anything.
Packaging/appearance
These are great, cuts through food packaging so easily.
Perfect for veggies, packaging, meat -even bone!
They cut through packaging and food like butter.
