Pros & Cons
Pros
It is small enough to tuck into a corner on my countertop. Powerful enough to easily handle single batches of cookies and mashed potatoes. Works really well for making bread doughs.
The speed lever is a bit stiff, but i'm getting used to it. Easy on old arthritic hands. Switching out beaters is so easy and not a tug of war like other mixers.
Cons
At least it looks nice on the countertop but seriously just save your money and buy something else. Aesthetics are there but quality leaves so much to be desired, it’s almost comical how bad it is. Cheap insult to the millions that they are poisoning!... Read More
The kitchenaid kitchenaid mixer is an expensive cake batter mixer. It is incapable of working with the tough batter/dough that you might find in bread or cookies. When you cream butter and sugar, it leaves large chunks of unmixed butter in the batter.... Read More
The fastest mixing speed is slower than the fastest speed on the bigger model. A manual blender is faster in speed than this. The regular one costs the same and the footprint is about the same.
Highlights
Quality
I like the beater with the silicone edge tool.
Good quality worth every penney i spend on it.
Good quality, but the site said brushed stainless amd it's not.
But like anything else, you get what you pay for, and here you get quality and a tool for life.
Price
The price too steep bc limited to none additional accessories ie: bowls, proper main paddle.
Shipping
The item came well boxed and shipping was fast.
Packaging/appearance
Arrived before christmas with out over packaging, so wife got her gift early.
Competitiveness
I have 2 ka tilt-head models that i use in my home custom cake business.
Plus didnt like the fact that the beaters weren’t stainless steel.
I hesitated to buy it lured by promises of lower priced competitors but i read the feedback on those and decided to send the extra money.
